Pulse Warmers

Materials:
1 skein Fingering weight wool such as Dale of Norway Baby Ull
Size 8 seed beads (approximately 750)
   2.5 mm knitting needles
   Small amount of cotton yarn
Crochet hook (size C or D)
   Tapestry needle

With cotton yarn and crochet hook do provisional cast on, casting on 34 stitches (more if you want a longer wristlet. With wool yarn knit one row then begin chart reading from right to left. The squares on the chart that are filled in should be knitted as follows: Place one bead, knit one. The bead will be placed "between" stitches and show up on the back side of the row you are knitting. Only wrong side rows are shown on the chart. All right side rows are knit without beads. To make sure the pattern works, you must complete the pattern repeat ending with row 56.

Remove the cotton waste yarn from the cast on and put live stitches on a needle. Either do a three needle bind off or graft the stitches together on the right side of the work (Kitchener Stitch) and fasten off.
